A stunning ride along Tokerau beach today...horses only just back into it after lockdown, and they were beautifully behaved and a joy to ride!

We just had the most magical beach ride with Horsen Around . More than just a plod along the beach - the horses are treasured and respected animals and we felt lucky to be accompanied by Richard and Yvette on this glorious ride! Tokerau Beach is a special place and experiencing it on horseback with a dog and a couple of horsey friends roaming freely beside us on the shore was an experience Ill never forget. Highly recommended for beginners and experienced riders. I cant wait to come again. Thanks!!

We stayed at Yvette and Richards place 2 nights. We felt welcomed and enjoyed beeing together with the family very much. My 12year old daughter fell in love immediatly with the dog, the cat and the calfs on the farm. After the first night in a cosy bed and after a delicious breakfast we drove to the beach for a half day horse ride. It was amazing. We could see whales. Really impressive. My daughter felt very uncomfortable after the first gallop on her horse. But Yvette and Richard were so phantastic flexible that my daughter could swap the horse and than she also could enjoy the ride. The next time we will stay longer.

The best horseback riding experience ever. I stumble upon Horse' N Around Northland by chance. A friend of mine was going to spend a few days working there so I decided to join him for a ride on the beach. Yvette and Richard have a number of beautiful race horses. The ride was on the beach for over 1.5h, absolutely amazing experience and one of the most enjoyable days I've had on horseback! I ended up spending a coupe of nights with Yvette and Richard on their farm on top of the hill and overlooking the fields with the horses. Truly enjoyable.
