On a trip to the Bay of Islands we visited the Omata Estate Vineyard & Kitchen, Russell, Bay of Islands which is now firmly at the top of our list of the New Zealand Wineries we have had the pleasure to visit on trips from our home in England, to see our family.
The wine tasting was great fun and most enjoyable and we decided on the Omata Estate 2022 Rose which was superb.
The pizzas were the best we have ever tasted, the gourmet platters were delicious and the service was excellent.
The views over the vines with Russell in the background were stunning.
If you are planning to visit the Bay of Islands, be sure to add this excellent venue to your itinerary it is a fantastic place!
