        This place is amazing. We loved everything about it and couldn't fault anything. Brilliant hosts, they have thought of everything you might need, and have done a fantastic job of all the details. We would highly recommend it, and it needs more than 5 stars!

        My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at Skylark Lodge. This is a new cottage, spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, with a luxurious bathroom with large bath as well as outdoor spa. There are sweeping views over the valley below. It is next to native bush where Kiwi can be heard at night. Just a short drive to Kerikeri and all the other top sights of the area. Daryl and Karen are wonderful, generous hosts who will help with any arrangements needed for accessing local tourist destinations. This is a great place for some R and R. Highly recommended.
