        Recently changed ownership. Sadly the quality & quantity of the food has greatly diminished. Brought 2 beef burgers and chips. Price had increased a lot but that was to be expected. Unfortunately the quality was shocking. Tiny leaf of lettuce, tiny thin piece of tomato & half a slice of beetroot was all the salad in the burgers. The smallest portion of chips youve ever seen accompanied it. This after a recent documentary showing the previous owners dishing out the biggest portions of chips in the country. Highly disappointed. We use to be regulars there but we will never go back again now. Moerewa Chip shop is dead. RIP

        Had the island food today was let down from the dry taro with no coconut cream & standard chop suey ,chicken curry wasn't that great ..bit of love in island food is what's missing
