        The Boathouse is an exceptional place to spend time away in the Bay of Islands. My wife and I booked five nights at "The Bridge", loved it from the moment we entered the apartment. The location is fantastic, the layout of the apartment is comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The Fish + Chips shop and the General Store are just a few minutes walk away. One thing to get used to is the constant ferry traffic with the landing right next to the house. But, we found that is part of the environment that makes staying at the Boathouse special. We will be back. Luisa and Hans R. Thieme
