Open Ocean Water Makers

After almost 3 months from deposit paid I still have no water maker, I was promised I would have it 6 weeks ago. I understand there are global supply problems but there are no excuses for zero communication. I have e mailed, phoned - even sent someone to their offices to see if they still existed. I eventually got through to be told he would send the half of the machine he did have - and once again, nothing.. I have now cancelled the order. My concern is that even if one day a water maker did arrive this company would never answer an e.mail or phone call for spares or assistance. In NZ you often have to beg to be a customer, they are all over you until they get your deposit and then ghost you. I cant recommend this company to anyone. Not one drop of water was made for all the hassle, and stress these people caused. The boat has now left the country without a water maker. You would think a small company would be trying to attract customers, not ignore them, especially when the market they supply is small and well connected.

A nice installation, well presented with great connections. Worked well for 18 months then failed. The 12v brushless motor requires a converter and controller. Difficult to diagnose and fix in remote location.
