Melanie Vezey Celebrant Paihia

Melanie officiated at my father-in-laws memorial service. It was very important to us that we chose the right celebrant for this occasion and had reached out to contacts in the wedding industry for recommendations. They told us she would be perfect and would show great empathy and this proved to be the case. Melanie took time to sit with us and hear stories and help us craft the story of my father-in-laws life, Melanie has a great way with words and was able to put our memories into well crafted tales and took the time to edit the eulogy we'd written as a family into something that flowed very well. She also let us have a lot of control over the script which the family greatly appreciated, sharing any changes via a shared document. She understood the importance for the family of this being a celebration of life, of the sharing of the happy and funny memories and not just a moment of sadness. You could tell she felt deeply about the occasion and truly showed great empathy, my husband even noticed the tears well up in her eyes at one point. Her care there meant so much to us, and if you are looking for someone to trust this moment to, you would do very well to choose Melanie. Thank you Melanie from the bottom of our hearts.

My new Husband and I could not recommend Melanie highly enough. She took the time and asked the right questions in order to get to know us, as individuals and as a couple, and this really shone through in our ceremony. Melanie is flexible, perceptive and very thoughtful in her approach. We asked for a simple, light-hearted and intimate ceremony and she delivered this perfectly!
