Had such a great couple of nights here, away from everything. The Green Rabbit cabin is perfectly placed to watch the moon rise through the window that makes up almost the whole wall beside the bed, and then watch the sky really put on a show as the sun comes up in the morning. Private enough you can leave the blinds up and not worry about being looked in on, and the tub out in the small garden fits two comfortably while giving a great view over the river and surrounding hills. Comfortable bed, small fireplace to get the cabin nice and toasty, and decent shower pressure for tank water - gas hot water definitely helps. Not much cellphone reception, so if you're hoping to do Netflix or remote working then Green Rabbit may not be the best cabin choice, but there's a stack of records and a player for those who want to have some background music. Or switch off the music and listen to the birdsong! A great base to come back to while exploring the Far North, and private enough to feel like you're coming "home" at the end of the day, rather than just back to the night's accommodation.
