        Great park with a committed team running the park hub. There are lots of rental bikes available if you are visiting the area without your bike. Tracks are well maintained and reasonably easy to navigate around. Getting the trail app is a good idea if it's your first time at the park.

        A really fun first time mountain biking. The owner is super chill, and very helpful. The easier trails are lots of fun. Some of the uphill sections with sharp turns I struggled on, but you can just walk the bike around these. Tons of different trails. If you make it up to Mt Bledisloe lookout you can get a really nice photo of across the Bay of Islands.
