We usually stay in a room with sea views, this time we stayed in a room with a garden view we were directed to room 722 The corridors to the room were so dark it was dismal but we thought once we got to the room it would be bright with a garden view. On opening the door my heart sank it was again dark enough to have to put the lights on at about 3pm. The view was of trees that blocked out a lot of light. Next time we stay will definitely get the room with sea views as they are lovely Only there for one night. The reception staff were very nice as was the entrance it was just that block heading to our room and the trees too close to allow sun light in Safety: I felt safe at the hotel

They charged us nearly $300 a night, and we were really disappointed. You walk into the building, and you are greeted with the old damp carpet smell. It doesn't get any better from there. The rooms are 40 years old, run down, tired, and worn down. Very disappointing for $300 a night, that's theft. It's an OK hotel if you pay around $100 a night.

Nearby activities: Loved the nearby Treaty Grounds, Museum, history etc. Walkability: Easy access to all we wanted to visit
