Having lived in Northland for the last 5 years my wife and I decided it was time we did something we had planned long ago but hadn't got around to it, visit the Kamo Lion Park. We decided on the guided tour as it was our first visit. The guide (the park owner) was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable . The cats were amazing, I recommend this place as a must do in Northland.

Was so disappointed. Really doesn't look that great and not many lions or tigers. Enclosures look subpar compared to other facilities. Really expected a lot more especially for the price.

The setting itself is pleasant, but Overall the experience is Boring and underwhelming. An Entry level bronze pass doesnt amount to anything. Youre not even provided with information at entry about feeding times for the cats. Suspect unless youre a silver or gold pass holder youre just a number.
