        We had to move our booking twice. Once due to bad weather forecast and the second time due to SH1 road closure (which would have meant a huge diversion via Dargaville from Auckland). Were the owners within their legal rights to retain our $100 deposit without moving our booking? - yes. However is this ethical when it's factors outside of our control make getting there a nightmare? No not IMHO. These guys are not in the business of providing a good holiday experience. They are money grabbers. Watch your backs campers!

        My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Teeasure Island campground! Beautiful beach, views from the hill and of the milky way on a clear night Great facilities and friendly staff. Kia ora and thank you for having us :)
