Wonderful stay with Fiona at Retreat. So we'll looked after especially as we stayed longer because of the Cyclone. Thankyou so much for everything. We had a long trip back with detours. HI Fiona Hope you enjoyed your ride down South. Could you possibly find out where your wooden platter came from as I would like to get one for my daughters birthday. We have just stayed at Harbourview retreat in Mangonui where we had never stayed before or met the owner. When we arrived we were both strung out from work and needed some time out. We were greeted by Fiona and her beautiful dog Honey. Fiona is the owner and an incredibly warm person with a wicked sense of humour and amazing cooking skills.She made us beautiful meals and when cold lit the fire with constant consideration to what made our stay as enjoyable as possible.We all went for long daily walks with Honey which we loved. The retreat is quiet and very clean and tidy while the queen bed we slept in was really comfortable but Fiona and Honey are an incredible draw card. Conversation with Fiona was really stimulating, we were to stay 2 nights but decided to stay for 3 nights.
