Troy and Tania were amazing hosts and nothing was to much trouble... the grounds surrounding the B&B take your breath away..150 year old redwood trees alongside Japanese maples, tree ferns, magnolia and hibiscus, just to name a few.. you can relax by the pool or in the spa and emerse yourself in the beauty of nature.... nothing has been spared to ensure comfort and luxury in the rooms.. on our travels from Wellington to Kerikeri this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in.. if time permitted we would loved to have stayed longer... thanks Tania and Troy for sharing your piece of paradise....

Tania is a wonderful host who takes great pride in what she does. She immediately came out to my car to greet me when I pulled into the driveway. Shes also an amazing cook because the complimentary breakfast was spectacular. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Theres also a beautiful backyard with many plants, trees, and birds. Additionally theres a beautiful pool and spa (hot tub). I wish I could give Pateke Lodge 100 stars. Simply amazing.

Such a perfect stay, Tania went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and us feel spoilt. Despite the bad weather we still managed a very quick dip in the pool and the hot tub which was so relaxing surrounded by the most beautiful gardens. Loved having Jack the cat help us with check out too!! Will definitely return when we are next up north!!
