To practice Buddhist Meditation Centre in a rural setting in Kerikeri. Sunday Dhamma Service by Ven Bhante Yasala and Ven Bhante Annuttara followed by shared lunch. There are only limited people accepted to practice and learn meditation and volunteers. Visit their website to find out more before visiting. Also keep in mind that there are very strict rules to follow: first and foremost, please to keep silence unless necessary anywhere in the temple. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while meditating or working. It's all about finding yourselves and awareness.

It was awesome and life changing experience with Bhante. I spent time 6 months in Santipada Monastery. A nun and a monk (called Bhante with respect) provide you an opportunity to experience Buddism lifestyle. I practiced meditation through whole day routine. They interpret wisdom that Buddha taught. They are also "Professional meditatior", so you will be amazed their clear and sharp perspective. Sometimes, they could be strict for manner because respect is an important teaching in Buddism, but they are basically very warm-hearted. I think there are so many things to learn from Buddhist to be a good social beings. The property is huge space with full of unique plants and beautiful sound of silence. Great place for retreat!
