Horrible experience and stay, would not reccomend at all...not very child friendly no trampoline swing set is old and rusty not safe. Overall the cottage and place was not as described and very much needs a bit of makeover..couldn't feed or pet animals when my kids did try to look at cute ducklings they got told off. I did dishes put rubbish in bags, picked up all I could off floor, wiped bench down as you would any hotel motel, I checked the hotel info there was no info on what to do upon check out so wasnt sure where to put rubbish or if it were to be vacuumed. As normally anywhere we have previously stayed through bookabach or privatley they have a full descriptive list to do before checking out...I also have paid a cleaning fee when necessary too...but there was nothing like this in cottages. I assumed no need to vacuum or put rubbish out like previous places And when I rang up to check if leaving rubbish out was ok, as I wasnt sure they also abused me telling me off, not for rubbish, but for not vacuuming and not flushing loo... My kids went to loo before we left and forgot to flush as kids sometimes do..we were in a hurry to get out early. This was absolutely ridiculous and was just end to bad stay. You need to have list if you expect vacuuming and maybe where to put rubbish, I did not leave the place as you said about floor we picked up all we could and were hardly there to make mess....we did not like staying there so we weren't there much at all. Very unprofessional and rude...every motel I have stayed at has descriptive check out policies put in place or if not stated, you don't vaccume just do dishes and tidy up..and in my 35 years I've never had a complaint I'm a very OCD clean person and was horrified at how the lady host was. If you want the place vacuumed please state or make it clear for future guests and leave vaccume in sight and a broom and brush n shovel.
