Northland Dive

What a beautiful trip! The diving was glorious, Lily and Sam were so friendly, helpful and fun. Julia's cooking was definitely something to look forwards to, as was feeding the resident eels. Will definitely have to get back there in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Julia and Shane. A very well run operation and each day seemed to outdo the last with the dive sites and weather. Their advice and experience was superb and the liveaboard experience to the Poor Knights Island was spot on. A truly spectacular piece of the world made even more so with their help. Put it on your to do list and do it!

What a trip, you could not ask for a more professional, safe and experienced operator. I did the 3 day liveonboard on Sun Spy at the Poor Knights and a day on the former HMNZS Canterbury. Sun Spy is the perfect size for getting around the Poor Knights with a spacious dive deck and lift to get you out of the water!!! The food excellent, like the experienced friendly crew. These guys are super knowledgeable without being controlling so we all had a great time. They offer Nitrox via a very well maintained compressor so zero gas issues. Great for technical and regular divers. The Ribs they use as a day boats to get to the Canterbury are huge and packing some serious grunt, making trip out and back a pleasure. Lunch on shore and back to the water for a second dive made this a fabulous day on and under the water. The generous team at Northland Dive easily get a 5 star in my book. You leave feeling like one of the family and I cannot wait to get back there.

Shane and Julia provide a wonderful service diving in the far north. Incredible food, fantastic experiences and amazing hosts.
