Animal Control and Pound

my boy (black lab)ran away a few days ago ,he had escaped straight after a bath and before i could put his collar on him,we couldnt find him around our suburb!2hrs went by so then we called whangarei pound and sure enough he was there!Today i picked my boy chop up from the whangarei pound and he was soaked in what smelt like janola he was also very skinny and came back with a runny nose and a very sore cough and he had scabs above his tail! when he got lost from home he was very healthy and well fed!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'S DID TO MY BOY BUT I AM PUTTING IN A COMPLAINT! yous are also very rude over the phone !

I phoned up regarding 2 officers coming to my house to an assessment on my 8 month old puppy and two 8yr old dogs.. The Manager was lovely, very thorough and informative. He handled my call exceptionally well, ( I am an overprotective dog momma) and can be quite abrupt. The call left me feeling positive about any further interaction I may have with them in the future.

Offices are so clean. Staff very Helpful. Dogs are kept in a Really clean safe cage. Wheelchair ramps.
