Two happy kids went in, and two defeated and disappointed kids went out. Few extra curriculars, poor sports culture. Poor community and learning environment. Almost 100% last minute cancelations of already mediocre activities, and a lot of patronising. As many have already said, the majority of staff are discouraging and degrading. Many complain of how much they hate their jobs, don't worry the kids hate what you do too. They're a huge discredit to Whangarei, as Whangarei Primary was exceptional. Do no think for a minute they're at all alike, Kamo Intermediate has excellent reviews from every person I've talked to about it (their kids included). Mending the damage they did to my kids enthusiasm for learning has been a huge pain. Avoid!!
