        It was lovely to see the goodies they sell in Cranium, and the exhibition of the model building club was interesting.

        High quality books and kids activities etc with reasonable prices. Love that they have a kids area for them to play. They had 2 books I was looking at ordering online elsewhere but was glad to find them in stock here at Craniums as I'd rather support a local bricks and mortar store (and not have to pay shipping). Well done Craniums on a lovely shop. My boys love it and we will now be regulars. Thank you!

        If I could rate it more, I would! Not so much a toy shop as a place to find amazing stuff for kids and adults to explore, make, build, read and collect. The absolute best littlest "toy" shop in Whangarei.

        Very rude, unwelcoming middle aged women behind the counter. I had forgotten my face mask at home, I asked whether she is able to supply me with a face mask or if I can purchase one. Rude, confrontational and sarcastic reply "if you don't have a face mask with you I'm gonna have to say babaye". She was pleased to exercise her authority over us in kicking us out. I can't help but wonder if her flippant response was related to my middle eastern descent and my wearing of the hijab. Very disappointed. I was a regular customer and I will not be returning.
