Max Fashions Whangrei is amazing! It's completely different to how it used to be, where I didn't even want to go in to the shop because I felt uncomfortable and judged - well let me tell you, what a big difference! I tried going in again recently, tentatively.. as heard they had changed staff, and it was GREAT! The new staff are so welcoming, friendly, kind, supportive and really freaking helpful! They don't make you feel like a stranger and awkward to be there - it feels more like being welcomed into a family. Every time I have been there, the treatment has been like I am a VIP and everyone I see come in while I am shopping, is treated the same way. I feel safe and excited to explore my own style and to get creative for a change! The new Max team curates and tailors the experience to suit you and whilst being honest and sincere, they are the ultimate encouragers! I feel so different going in there than I used to and I don't feel like avoiding town so much because I know I can go into Max Whangrei and feel welcome, and appreciated! Truly a beautiful style experience, and I can not recommend it highly enough.

Cute clothes... pity about the customer service tho! Been in there numerous times over the last few months and the ladies don't offer help or even say hi, they just chat amongst themselves ... eyeroll!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Love the quality of the clothes. Good range of styles and colours.
