It was during the Christmas New Year period we visited, so granted they had staff issues, however, I have never been to a restaurant which was so slow with everything! We could see enough staff in the open kitchen, however, after we ordered it took them about 2 hours to bring out the kids cheeseburger! plus it was a total insult - a patty in between two buns with cheese - no side salad and no fries! Two adult food plates were delayed even further. We were so hungry and bored by that point that I don't even remember how the food tasted. The insult on top of all that is they charged a 15 or 20% service fee! - I am happy to pay for service if there was actually some.

Avoid this place !! If you want decent food or service go somewhere else. Took my teenage son for quesadilla and ribs (his favourite) Ribs were bland, chewy and boring and covered in curry base with tomato. Nothing like real dry rubbed ribs with Texas bbq sauce. They obviously knew the Ribs are garbage as they never asked if everything was ok when we paid. We ate some of the ribs so paid in full. Pilsner beer was also sub par and tasted worse than a first attempt at homebrew. Gives Otago a bad name in service and quality.
