A broken fan belt (actually 3) on my camper holiday and these guys were AMAZING! They had the belts in stock and Chris (I think) did the job immediately. A big ask in these days of low staff. Thanks so much and greatly appreciated Balclutha Auto Electrics.

Always get a second opinion. If you really have to come here, make sure you get a quote before hand, stay and watch the jobs done if possible even if they make you super uncomfortable to be there. Once my horn went off uncontrollably so I removed the horn fuse and sent it to them to get checked, appointment was 9am I was told to come back when they call. 1pm I called back to check in they hadn't started with my car and told me to wait for call; 4pm no call received so I went back to them but the car was ready. Was then told there was nothing wrong with my car but they wanted me to come back in one week time as they unplugged my horn switch to "test it out", all this was done without my consent. One week later I went back to them and was asked to make appointment for next week, as they want to change my clock spring without telling me it'd cost $600. So I called back to confirm my appointment date and time and quote found out the price, I told them I'd like to get my horn plug back in and nothing more. From passing key to them to my car moved out from the garage took less than 10 minutes which cost $25 (they asked my to come back in 30 minutes but I insisted to stay). My car is now back to original state before it went to this shop, it is working fine but I'm 180$ less in my wallet.
