Theres good accomodation facilities with security cameras but dont work here if you are not fine with someone telling you who you can talk with.

Great place to work, friendly staff, nice accommodation great view looking out onto the hills from both the pack house and surrounding orchards

A small family orchard, great accommodation and beautiful countryside around. The work is not easy, but you can make good money with if it's a good season. You will of course meet local Kiwis and Backpackers at the accommodation. The reason for the 1 star rating is that we didn't get paid for the public holiday, there are 4 days in the season. I have never had an employer not pay public holidays. So if it's important to you, try to find another and fair orchard, it's a lot of money for 4 days. Unfortunately, when we asked about public holidays, because most people were also confused, the management became super arrogant and walked away from the conversation saying they had other work to do. I asked them if they could share this information about not paying the bank holiday next time. But no response. As we found out, this is every year situation. So I think they are lying on purpose. Otherwise we enjoyed picking and you will also meet some really nice guys from Wanuatu.
