Riversong Bed & Breakfast

Riversong B&B is run by a friendly and courteous couple, Rob and Gretel, who also raises a lovely and energetic dog name Meg. When we arrived at the premises, we were so delighted about the great location of Riversong, with Clutha River and mountains around, it's such a tranquil place. We were welcomed by Rob and Meg, and he enthusiastically detailed us about the room, which is at first floor, facing the river. The room is pretty clean and tidy and it made us feel like we were kids walking to a room parents had prepared for us. It's not very large, but quite cozy and the bed is so comfortable. There is a spacious patio you can relax for a while or have star gazing during the night. Next morning, we were welcomed by the couple and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, exchanging opinions and chattering all over the table. It's such an enjoyable experience to learn something from true locals like them and to share thoughts during conversation. It's the genuine way to get acquainted with lovely people and to understand the true meaning of communication. The couple even came out and waved goodbye when we drove out on our way. We indeed felt the warmth and sincerity from them and deeply hoped that we will definitely greet them if we ever visit Wanaka again.
