Bike It Now was incredibly helpful to us right on closing time. We needed brake fluid and he discovered a bolt missing in the rear suspension. Although he didn't have the parts he went out of his way to get us going for our bike ride the next day, and found parts that worked. So helpful and straight up about what was needed. Thank you

Cheers guys for sorting out my valve issues so fast! Rocked in at 9am with a broken valve, fixed and with new sealant in the tyre we were out by 9.10am. Amazing service

Great experience with Bike It Now. At the last minute, they managed to organise bikes and shuttles for our group of four to ride the Lake Dunstan. The bikes were top quality and the service from all staff was excellent. Would definitely go back!

So the day after I posted this originally, the part owner rang me. My son listened and said "berate" isn't too strong a word to describe how he spoke to me. He kept repeating he wanted to "solve the situation" but couldn't name the situation or how he might resolve it. How about a refund for a payment I shouldn't have had to make???? - that didn't occur to him. I kept waiting for him to figure it out. He eventually asked me if I was now happy with the bike. I said it was a year old so should have a service but I wouldn't take it there. He did offer to pick it up and do it himself. By this stage I had zero trust. No thanks. However the funniest part was him repeatedly telling me why it was OK for a salesperson to stop serving me to see to other customers (serving them completely while I waited, not saying "I'll be with you shortly". ) He kept asking me how I would feel if I was that other customer and had to wait. Unfortunately I only remembered after I got off the phone... the first time I went into the shop (to enquire rental prices) there were 2 staff serving one man, who finished the transaction, said Goodbye then turned back to start chatting. BOTH salespeople saw me, both ignored me. The chat went on for 5 minutes, so I walked out. This kind of cements the sexist ageist views of staff and owners. Despite the very long phone call the owner was completely incapable of taking on board that their customer service to older women is completely tone deaf. Stay clear. Original review Bought a bike from here a year ago with faulty brake pads. They attempted to fix it. They couldn't, so then swapped them out for cheaper brake pads and CHARGED me. (The brakes were shown to me by the technician - they were black and he said they should be a shiny gold colour). Through every interaction, I was treated poorly/rudely. He kept interrupting the initial sale to attend to other customers (at least 4 times) , and during one of the visits about the brakes, did the same, referring loudly to the customer's "lady parts". Really? And he was trying to justify his charging me by using the CGA. Again... REALLY??? What does the C in CGA stand for again? What prompted me to do this review a year later is hearing of an acquaintance's similar experience. It wasn't the brakes - it was the wheels, and first day out, she had an accident because of their error. It could have been worse than it was. I would not recommend anyone buy from this store.
