        We booked one night to stay. The rooms were clean however the service was poor. We arrived to check in at 9pm but one of the owners called Di was upset and spoke to us in an condescending tone as we came late and didnt respond to the messages sent ( however the app clearly stated that check in was 2-9pm) . Even with our apology, she disallowed us from cooking steak in one of the rooms due to the smell and told us that she wouldnt open the interleading door that connects both rooms as we were late. She also emphasised on NZ rules thinking we were foreigners due to us being east asians. It was a nice room however regretfully it will be our last stay.
