Queenstown Ice Bar

Probably the best ice bar in Queenstown, but not family friendly. Features at least one sculpture that depicts male genitalia. That said, a couple came with two small girls while we were there. The introductory staff give you coats and gloves and give you a rundown of what to do and not to do and send you down. The bar itself is basically a big meat freezer with a lot of ice sculptures. I am oversimplifying it... it's great, and our bartender was both cute and amazing.

It is a novelty, thats for sure. Its basically a giant freezer with some interesting ice sculptures and some very questionable cocktails. The cocktails come in ice glasses which you get to smash when youve finished. Thats fun. The vibe is fun especially when the alcohol hits. I think the cocktails are just alcohol and some flavoured sugar syrup. If your after a great cocktail, this aint your place. But for fun with a group, its pretty good. Wouldnt go back though. Once is enough.
