How wrong you can be. Contacted the hotel directly instead of through Expedia and explained more fully the situation. They couldn't be ore helpful, really appreciate the extra mile. Beware cancellation charges. We didn't get to travel due to severe flooding in Auckland. The hotel retained $260 from the booking so I would recomend booking with a more understanding company. Very disapointed and won't be booking again.

Tiny BASEMENT room 104B, no space at all, fridge door hard to open over carpet, cheap joinery/finish. Aweful tiny stoney garden outside with no sun and dead plants - very unpleasant. No daily cleaning - which is fine but just adds to ridiculous price per night for a box Room that is below road/carport. So very disappointed PS. Room 104 b. Not even Sky TV. Only Free channels.

Pros: quiet location past busy Queenstown, beautiful view of town and Lake Wakatipu, 10 mins walk into town, staff very friendly Cons: no conditioner provided (only 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner - shower gel also provided but no lotion or shower cap), toilet makes running noises when someone from other floors use their bathroom (doesn't happen at night when everyone is sleeping), shower temperature fluctuates (almost got scalded each time I showered), need to pay for extra coffee pods (instant coffee provided for free), milk only in pods, would be nice if a little more was provided (was told I had to I go buy my own) Consensus: would risk the shower scalds and stay here again because the views are amazing and it's quieter than staying in town - I'll just need to bring my own conditioner, coffee pods and milk! But please fix the plumbing!
