Reason I gave this 3 stars was because although I found the staff to be very friendly (especially at the bar restaurant on the top floor) is because this hostel is very flawed. The kitchen is way to small and there is no where to eat really as you cannot bring your food upstairs. The upstairs bar/restaurant and communal room close at 10pm so if you are an owl like me and like being up late there is no place to chill and socialize with others. Other than that I enjoyed the pod room as my pod was cozy and private and the staff were nice.

Ab 17 Uhr stinkt das komplette Hostel nach Essen weil (nach Aussage der Mitarbeiterin) die Lftung den Gestank von der Gemeinschaftskche zieht. Lecker indischer Geruch in unserem Zimmer und das jeden verdammten Tag. Es gibt keine Heizung im Zimmer - man bekommt einen kleinen Heizkrper wenn man friert. Dann kann man mit Heizkrper weiter frieren, da die Lftung auch zur kalten Jahreszeit auf kalt eingestellt ist und der Heizkrper nicht dagegen ankommt. Wir haben uns oft gefragt, ob wir im falschen Film sind. Einzig die Lage ist super. Wre das hier ein 15 Hostel wrde uns das alles nicht berraschen aber wir sprechen hier von ber 100 die Nacht!

JUCY Snooze Queenstown: relatively beautiful and modern hostel! However I would like to attract attention of management to improve these things that I faced with: 1. There wasn't fresh blanket in my cell / capsule ("bed", private part of room); there was blanket that was used before me (it was smelling); 2. Low frequency hum constantly at night. Maybe it whole-building ventilation, but I couldn't sleep, I woke up at 3 am (my own vent was turned off); 3. Relatively bright in cell even with closed curtains at night; because light squares are work constantly automatically in the room, and curtains transmit light; 4. Water in shower don't go out, and you forced to stay in water on the floor; 5. Instructions on rubbish and recycling bin are mixed up with each other (on the rubbish bin you see instructions for recycling); how can I guess, what sigh is prioritised, lid on bin or label/instructions? It's confusing.
