Washatipu Laundromat

Washing machine was fine but the dryer did not do his job at all. Was almost as wet as before even though I only had one thing in it and power dry on. They told me I had to pay again for it, never again! Edit! Just saw the answer of Washatipu and I am pretty angry. I did not use it wrong, two girls were using the washing machine under the dryer and I would have definitely notice if their machine would have started and not mine but the dryer was definitely on. I called it power dry which was not their official name, but it was the version if you have lots of clothes to dry even though I only had one hoodie! And by the way nobody ever offered me a free dry even though I asked for it! Very sad that you feel the need to lie

Great laundry mat. Coin operated. Washers and dryers are a big size so can fit heaps in there. $4 for a wash, $4 for a dryer and $2 for detergent. You can get change from the hostel reception next door. If the main door isnt opened on the street front you can enter via the reception. Open 9am - 9pm everyday.
