Platypus Shoes Queenstown

Wanted to buy some sneakers. I was literally bossed around by the sales person. I went up to the counter to ask for a size. The sales person demanded turn the shoe over. Then Put the shoe back. Weirdly demanding and rude. I would have gone somewhere else if I hadnt already made the trip. Hope G finds a job she actually likes

Wife found a set of shoes with a big obvious sale! price label on them. Good price. When they were scanned the price changed. Not a good price. Store refused to honour the advertised price referring to the price inside the shoe and not the big badge on the outside. Even the serving staff member was surprised. Tldr - get the item scanned before you try them on. Or risk a bait and switch at the till.

Had Grace in the qt store help me swap my shoes for the right size and she was so helpful. I hate shopping in store and she made me feel comfortable. 10/10 service

Watch out!! Terrible service, poorly trained staff and useless customer care. I wasn't given a receipt with the purchase or asked for an email address to be sent one, so when i went back to the shop to return a pair of uncomfortable shoes the store manager said she couldnt help without the receipt and she was sorry i wasnt given one, but the system wouldnt allow her to refund me. Unable to help me she gave me a 0800 number which was always offline, so I tried the platypus online chat who told me they didn't have an 0800 line and that i had to go back to the store because the manager would be able to do the refund. You can only imagine how i felt. No one knows what needs to be done and there is no way of contacting customer service. There are so many shoe shops out there that know they have to give a receipt to their customers with every purchase and offer great customer service and shopping experience. Platypus never again. :(
