Last time I went there before second lockdown, the menu was like a Kiwi new fusion of dishes. Presentation was mind blowing and the taste of every single dish was am explosion of flavours. If it re-opens I am hoping that they will be able to carry-on where they had to leave it.

Wow!!! Amazing, the flavours, the food, the wine and the service. Went as a small group of friends who wanted a flash night out and No 5 sure did deliver. The chef came out to explain each dish and his philosophy of using every part of the animal or plant, sourcing from local farms, foraging, and making zero waste. My sad old phone didnt do the photos justice, but the memory is on par with Michelin star restaurant. I highly recommend the Kura-yaki crayfish dumplings and the Jerusalem artichokes. The duck was outstanding and the dessert was over the top.

We loved everything about our dining experience here. The menu was diverse and fresh. Local and indigenous ingredients elevated the food and made for unique flavours. Mouth watering at every bite. They have good portion sizes, so you can try loads of things without stuffing yourself. The price point is really great for the quality! The staff and chef were very personable and attentive. We will be back!
