Being a local to the area and also working in hospitality theres a certain amount of leeway and patience you give people working in similar environments. I had been going to this bar quite regularly until I started noticing how management were acting. I have noticed on a few occasions the toxic environment in there. Staff and management appear to have no regard for customers and I have been witness to the German manager being absolutely horrible to staff and customers. I have seen other staff be really really good and helpful, but maybe management need a different approach to handling how they respect their customers and colleagues. On one occasion I saw the small, dark haired manager physically grab a paying customer by the arm because she thought he was bringing a lit cigarette indoors. When he pointed out that the cigarette wasnt lit, she didnt apologise and simply let him go and walked away. This was highly unprofessional in any capacity and deserved an apology at the very minimum. You should never touch anyone.

The dj here was top draw and the cocktails were decent. Nice tea theme.

Wow! Staff is really friendly, beer and cider are delicious. We totally loved the veggi cauliflower-wings! There was also live-music, which was beyond good!
