Best cocktails by a significant margin and impeccable service.

I come here every single day when Im down in Queenstown. This is probably the best bar Ive ever been to. Food and cocktails are absolutely delicious (especially the famous chowder) and the prices are actually very reasonable for what you get. But the best bit is I always feel so well looked after by the amazing staff. Love you guys!!!

Waitstaff was inattentive and indifferent. Cheeseburger was extremely overdone. Duck breast was not available so they subbed a very thin leg. Sauce was good but barely enough meat to taste. Fries were terrific and accompanying sauce was very good. With no warning until waitress presented bill they added 2.5% for payment by credit card. The manager explained that that 90% of customers were tourists and most restaurants in Queenstown do this. Not sure how this explains a hidden charge at an upscale restaurant that could build the fee into their menu prices. Could they have just discovered what the rest of the world has known for decades, that credit card companies charge a fee?
