Paradise Trust

Just loved this! We stayed in Dart Hut - fantastic views of the Dart Valley and stunning mountains. Saw red deer and birds of prey. Huts have everything you need to cook, and ours had a log burner so we were warm. Saw a completely unpolluted night sky and watched the sun rise and light up each mountain - no phone signal, no internet, just nature - perfect.

We held our wedding ceremony at Paradise Trust. It was absolutely beautiful. They accepted a chartered bus of around 30 people to arrive on site, and had set up a small table for signing with fresh cut roses. Though communication was a little slow (around a week before we recieved replies), and we were not made aware that part of our hire cost - the use of a golf cart to reach other area's for photos - was actually out of order upon our day of arrival, the overall professionalism, kindness, and cost was well worth the absolutely incredible, scenic drive from Queenstown + location. We were given access to other areas with the use of our own car due to the golf carts being unavailable, which was provided verbally immediately upon our arrival. We also had use of the School Hall, which was a great location for photos and getting ready. All our guests were in awe of the beauty of the the location, and have raved that it was one of the most perfect wedding venues they've been to! Cannot recommend enough, and we will absolutely be back for our anniversaries in the future. (One recommendation: Bring bug spray!)

If you want to be lost in the middle of nowhere, with beautiful scenery and Off grid Lifestyle (no power at all), then it is perfect. There is actually a lot more things than advised in the cottage (toilet paper, gaz bottle, wood (for indoor use only) are furnished). We didnt had beddings and therefore asked to rent some, they added it for free. 11/10 would go there again and i urge you to go there.
