Western House

Unbelievable hospitality. John and Linda were fantastic hosts for our 3 nights in Kurow. They were warm and friendly and were lovely with our 2 children. They let our toddler feed the chickens each morning and had a wide array of toys and books to keep her occupied too. John had the fire going for us each morning and evening. Breakfast was a real highlight and we didnt need lunch most days!! Overall, a fantastic experience and wed love to go back!

Stayed overnight a few weeks ago as part of the Alps2Ocean cycle trail. Lynda greeted us upon arrival, showing us around and offering tea and biscuits. Dealing with Lynda over email was always quick and efficient & she was kind enough to even honour our original (pre-COVID) pricing - which was unexpected. John was great company for dinner & fondly shared all the history of the property, area surrounds & his own adventures. Lynda's fresh (sweet) bread was wonderful, as were the giant homemade rolls for lunch. The stay felt more like staying with old friends than an establishment - the hosts really made an effort to spend time with their guests. Highly recommended!
