Welcome Rock - Meet the High Country

I bought a voucher for my Husbands Birthday, it took us almost a year to redeem it, it was however well worth the wait. We added on the platter and breakfast options and bag drop. The tracks were challenging for me as Im not single track fit, my kids 10 and 12 managed really well this was also terrain they werent used to. We loved the experience the history and how Tom had a vision and has through that created a very special experience.

The concept of this accomodation is really good. The hike to the Slate hut was pretty straightforward with windy paths to the accommodation. The only downside to this place is its not well maintained. For the price we paid, I was expecting clean rooms. But the place is not kept clean.
