A huge amount of history as the first gold was struck there in Gabriels gully Lovely old houses around town and the people are very friendly Check out the cemetery as it has a lot of history including a lot of the Chinese miners stories from the mid 1800s. We parked for the night on power in our motorhome, awesome spot. Camp very clean and neat and tidy, hosts excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this camp. Safety: So quiet and very safe

Beautiful camp ground with a very friendly deer that loves all sorts of left overs and daily pats from the kids! The owners were great and the place just had a great vibe! Theres a wee play area for kids and all the normal facilities on hand! Well priced and when in a campervan or caravan you are not placed right next to others! Noteworthy details: The guys that run the place were accommodating and experienced they like the kids to have fun and not worry about having to be quiet which was a relief with 3 kids having been in a car for many hours traveling
