        Stopped here for a coffee on the way to franz josef and was pleasantly surprised! Best coffee i have found on the road in the south island and the toasted sandwich was delicious! Recommend stopping here. As an aussie i have struggled to find a good coffee - but Jed did not let me down!

        Nice seat by the fire. Friendly staff. Yummy hot chocolate and caramel slice. Was a very nice pit stop!

        I think the restaurant is good. When you are in a remote area, this is a nice place to have a rest. We order the steak and curry for dinner, they are comparatively cheap and delicious.
