        Great view but a lot more efforts required comparing to other day walks, recommended for anyone having strong legs and good for climbing steep. 2 hours to the hut and another 1 hour to the glacier lakes lookout for a fast hiker. For river crossing, my waterproof socks were very useful and kept my feet dry. For the climb, it was steep and a lot of tree roots, similar to Humpridge first day climb. For the water supplies, 3.5 litre for me in total for completing the day trip to the glacier. Not recommended in any unsettled/wet weather conditions. For navigation, I found the GPS information from one of hiker on AllTrails was helpful.

        Great trek, especially the way to the glacier was hard, but the views were spectacular. Didn't want to come back.
