        Very nice lake, but locals not. I've met many unfriendly people who seems to sick and tired of tourist of any kind. :( I'd suggest to not waste time for this town and give them a rest from visitors. Don't spoil your impression of friendly New Zealanders by visiting Lake Hawea town!
