        Stayed here on the Otago Rail Trail. Lovely location, great room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast & dinner Nearby activities: Take yourself on the Ophir walking tour, interesting history, dont miss the bridge

        We had dinner here whilst doing the rail trail. Hands down the best meal you will get on the rail trail and would have to be one of the best restaurants in the country. They picked us up from Omakau and dropped us off all at no charge, and we got a bit of the history of Ophir as well. A great experience all round. Most of the options for eating on the trail are ok, but this is your only option for a real dining experience so my advice is do not miss it, this one is a must.
