I just wanted to share our experience with Alpine Joinery during the last year. We found Julie to be exceptional to work with, she listened to what we required for our kitchen and installed an amazing kitchen for us. She gave us options and recommended things we wouldnt have thought of, our kitchen joinery and bench-top are amazing. Julie looked after us and made sure we were updated along the way and most of all she was honest (which is so important when doing a renovation). Julie has gone above and beyond what we expected and still remains in contact to make sure things are all still okay even 3 months later! We absolutely recommend Julie and the team at Alpine and wouldnt hesitate in using them again if we needed any more joinery for our home. Thanks team for being so awesome.

I would give Alpine zero stars if I could. We hired Alpine early last year to make us a painted kitchen based on how genuine and competent Julie seemed. Working with Alpine became the worst renovation experience we have ever had and we definitely do not recommend them. During the design stage everything seemed to go smoothly, but once it came to actually having the kitchen built and installed it all fell apart. The first red flag was when our builder tried to get in contact with Alpine to get the kitchen plans so they could make sure plumbing was installed in the correct place. Julie refused to share the plans, saying "they'll read them wrong" but wouldn't head out to the house to let them know where plumbing needed to be installed. I had to call her and quite forcefully insist either the plans be shared or she go to the house as she was holding up our other building work. When it came to the kitchen being installed it became evident that the cabinets being installed didn't fit the space. The oven unit and gap for the built-in dishwasher were made too wide, the bench and overall length of the kitchen was measured too long, cupboard doors couldn't open properly as they hit our windowsills (scribers too small). The units that were being installed were also put in wonky and the initial paint job was appalling, including the prep carried out by the joiners. Some pieces had no clearcoat, or clearcoat only in the middle of a panel, most had very fine MDF sawdust stuck in the paint (or hadn't been sanded properly before painting), and in the end after looking over every painted piece only ONE was up to standard. When we raised our concerns about the kitchen quality we got many apologies and platitudes, some things were taken away to be fixed (e.g. the painting was re-done), and we were promised everything would be remedied as soon as possible. However, communication was poor and sporadic and the promised finish date was missed multiple times. We hardly saw the installers over the next few weeks (becoming months), they would sometimes bring a few cabinets or fronts to the house and maybe install them, but then it would be several days before we saw them again. Eventually, 5 months after we were supposed to have our kitchen installed and finished we fired Alpine under the Consumer Guarantees Act and got an alternate joiner to come in and fix their mistakes. It took the new joiners a solid week to find and fix everything that was wrong with our kitchen.

Had a kitchen bench fitted in to an existing kitchen. Highly recommend their work and their help with the design to fit in with the vision I had for my kitchen. Thanks team!
