Grahams Bush Walk

We walked down from Mt Cargill lookout, with fantails following us along sections and really enjoyed the walk. It crosses streams in a few places but there are either good bridges or it's easy to get across without wet feet. Even though it hadn't rained that day the track was slippery in places - it's not as well formed as coming up Mt Cargill from Bethune's Gully. Also it's in shaded valley quite a bit, so would get quite dark in the evening. There aren't any great viewpoints, but it's still a nice walk. Ends up at the top of Hall Road in Sawyers Bay. The old scout camp near the Sawyers Bay end looks like private property now. We didn't see anybody else on the walk, despite it being a Saturday afternoon!

This is a beautiful tract of native forest....so why has a hideous track been bulldozed through the bush alongside the walking track towards the top? Who on earth would give consent for this???
