Columbus Coffee at Mitre 10 MEGA Oamaru

I asked for no cinnamon on my chai it turned up with cinnamon, they theoretically remade it but had only scrapped the cinnamon off the top then denied doing this, they eventually made another.

Coffee prices too expensive. Price on board cheaper than that charged. Excuse was they havent changed the board. Not the best cappuccino Ive had.

Coffee could be hotter and maybe a bit stronger. Otherwise always great service and food is always very tasty and nice and fresh. Generous portions. Highly recommend- this place won't let you down!

What has gone wrong with the franchise? Have dined here a number of times, always on a Sunday. However our visit on Thursday may be our last. We ordered cabinet food & fries & requested it all come out together. The fries came out over 10mins prior to cabinet food. Had to enquire where cabinet food was & still waited ages before receiving. Panini looked OK from front view, however no filling in the rear half. Cheese roll was daylight robbery @ $7.50 ($2 more than Timaru!) Coffee was also average. Very disappointed.
