        The campground is beside the Oamaru Gardens and a great kids playground. We are return guests and always enjoy staying. The facilities are always well cleaned and cared for, and plenty of recycling and trash facilities are amazing. Thank you. Walkability: Close enough to the town centre through the gardens. Very pretty.

        We stayed here (tenting) for one night in March, on our way back up the South Island. It's a really nice campsite, with shady trees and commendable cooking and showering facilities. The campsite is right next to the Oamaru public gardens, which are lovely. And we went to the Steampunk Headquarters museum, which I thought wouldn't be my cup of tea but it was so much fun! and very interesting.
