The hostel owner is an old woman who at first seemed nice. She welcomed me and we had a chat. She showed me around town and told be the best spot to view pinguins in a ethical way. I stayed in the hostel for a couple of days in January 2020. Everthing was nice... But then it changed i began to notice that she treated 'asian people' differently. She was not polite to 'asian people' (im european and i recognized it). She kept telling me that she always had trouble with 'asian people'. And she even started shouting at two guest from south-korea because in her opinion they took to many showers. (she did not write or tell anyone how many showers were allowed). As she spoke to them she didnt use their names (which she did as she spoke to me) but she called them both Korea in a denegrating tone.The next day a guest from china arrived but after one houer he was forced to leave by the owner because according to her 'he was not good for the admosphere'. They had a extreme discussion and it ended with the owner shouting while the chinese guy was crying and hurrying into his car. I tried to help him but it was not possible to change the owners opinion. I do NOT recommend staying in this hostel.
