  • 10000 (Translated by Google) This is the best backpacker hostel I have stayed in since I came to New Zealand. The room is tidy and clean, and the bed is moderately soft and firm, allowing you to sleep until the alarm clock rings. The kitchen is tidy and clean, and all the places are meticulously arranged and spotless. It can be seen that the employees work hard and feel that they go to work here with a smile. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the rest area let you have a panoramic view of HNA's scenery. The most outrageous thing is that there is a massage chair worth 10,000 US dollars. Yes, I am posting a comment to enjoy it.

People who like heritage probably would like this hostel more than me. The vintage water taps were extremely hard to shut properly and leaked if we didn't use force. The walls were quite thin, but again, this hostel was built in the 1860's (I searched that up). But nonetheless quite clean compared to a regular hostel and comfortable beds but Goki caused problems (is Oamaru really that unsafe?) Nearby activities: Quite close is the Oamaru heritage precinct and the steampunk HQ and the town icon the blue penguins

(Translated by Google) Close to downtown and penguins I didnt see the staff during my one-day stay, so I checked in with the password in the letter The kitchen and public space are quite large, there is a massage chair, free wifi, towels Free jam, cereal, etc. in the kitchen The disadvantage is that the sound insulation is extremely poor, and the sound of wood is obvious. As long as someone walks upstairs or nearby, they will definitely be woken up No public hair dryer (Original)check in wifi

Rooms: Simple double room, but very large, with a nice window Nearby activities: Near the town and the Victorian Quarter, including Steampunk HQ Safety: Feels very safe. Doors locked with modern coded tech, notices about strangers etc. Noteworthy details: Massage chair!!!

(Translated by Google) From the map, it looks very close to the penguin viewing area. You can walk there after drinking beer at Scotts Brewing nearby. However, after the actual visit, I found that this place is on a hillside, and the penguin viewing area is a bit remote. It is a bit hard to walk back and forth. , and ended up driving there (give up the beer). During check-in, I spent some time with other foreigners to study how to open the door and check-in by myself. It is recommended that you check-in as soon as possible to avoid confusion. The room is comfortable, and the shared bathroom is a bit troublesome, but this is the case with youth hostels, so there is nothing to complain about. The kitchen utensils are complete, and the dining room can seat six people. (Original) Scotts Brewing()check-incheck-incheck-in
