Liquid Self Service Laundromats

As we are travelling around the South Island in our caravan, I have been seeking out Liquid Self Service Laundromats. To date they have been brilliant but today's experience was not. When the washing came out of the washer it was very heavy and I was able to wring water out of it by hand. Admittedly no lots but that is not what you expect when washing is spun dry.

The cameras are a token gesture. I left washing in a dryer, returned while it was still running. My items were damaged and Liquid pretty much did nothing. Left me out of pocket. I would highly suggest using one of the other laundromats in town. They are slightly cheaper and locally owned and much more friendly if something goes wrong. No doubt they will respond to this with some cliche non-helpful justification of their actions.

I would not say the facility is helpful but a bit expensive. Having the option to use ur debit card to top up their card, is appreciated. That is a pros. That saves us running after coins. I recently relocated from Auckland. Compared to there this is expensive. It was 2$ per wash while here is price doubled. 4$. But that is fine if they provide laundry liquid. Without that, I would say it is bit expensive. Designated machines for animal clothes. So, plz be mindful on that. The place is clean and maintained well. There was one or two machines out of order when I visited there 26/Aug/2022. Street paid parking as it is just by the main road. A useful facility nevertheless. 25mins for a 8kg washer cycle and 25mins to a 14kg dryer dryer cycle.
